Goodwin: Only injury absentee

Goodwin is still recovering from an exploratory knee operation and is expected to be the only player unavailable in Clark's new-look squad for Saturday's League One opener at Roots Hall.

New signing from Ipswich, teenager Jordan Rhodes, is among those hoping to make an instant impression on the Terriers travelling fans, while defender Lee Peltier has shaken off a slight groin problem and is poised to make his bow for the Terriers.

Fellow summer signings Antony Kay, Peter Clarke, Robbie Simpson and Theo Robinson could all feature and leave manager Clark with a series of selection dilemmas at the start of his first full season in charge.
