The duo joined the Shakers in the summer from Chester and Carlisle respectively and could spearhead the attack against the Cherries on the opening weekend of the League Two season.

Fellow frontmen Andy Bishop and Andy Morrell remain absent with hernia problems and will be joined on the sidelines by Damian Allan.

The midfielder, a summer signing from Morecambe, will be out for around a week with a groin strain but fellow new recruits David Worrall and Simon Johnson are in contention.

Worrall has rejoined Bury from Championship outfit West Brom on an initial six-month loan, while former Leeds winger Johnson has penned a short-term deal at Gigg Lane.
