Morgan missed the 4-0 win at Wycombe on Tuesday night as he was away with Wales but after playing under half an hour of the 2-1 defeat in Montenegro he will return to partner Gabriel Zakuani at London Road.

Krystian Pearce and Toumani Diagouraga both made impressive debuts during the routine win at Wycombe but could both have to settle for a place on the bench as Paul Coutts is expected to return in midfield after a slight knee problem.

Ferguson's only injury concern remains winger Chris Whelpdale, who is recovering from a hernia operation, as he looks to give Posh fans their first win over Wednesday since August 1978.
