Under League rules, clubs in administration cannot sign players if they have 20 or more professionals already on their books.

But Ablett is hoping to be able to play Chelsea loanee Bridcutt in place of young midfielder Matty Mainwaring - who is currently sidelined for six months with a broken leg.

Goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams is Ablett's only other injury concern.

The Wales Under-21 international injured his hand in the warm-up prior to Tuesday night's clash with Carlisle, but he is expected to be fit for the trip.

The Problem With FA Cup Shocks...

...is that the draw for the next round is pretty shocking. Blackburn v Stoke, anybody? We also have mails on LVG and ManUnited, who drew plenty under Fergie...

You're Man Utd, For Crying Out Loud!

Defending a 0-0 draw with Cambridge on the grounds that other teams lost to lower-league opposition is not befitting of Man United. We're inclined to agree with Mailboxers...
