Roman Bednar returned in Wednesday's Carling Cup win over Rotherham after a three-month suspension due to drug allegations, while Simon Cox also grabbed his first goal for the club in the 4-3 triumph.

They will compete with Luke Moore, Chris Wood and Reuben Reid to start up front but fellow forward Craig Beattie will not be available after completing a switch to Swansea.

Midfielder Robert Koren is expected to recover in time from a calf injury but wide man Chris Brunt is struggling with a similar problem and is not expected to make it, while winger Jerome Thomas has overcome illness.

New signing Gonzalo Jara looks set to miss out as he awaits international clearance following his move from Chile but fellow defender Joe Mattock (bruised shin) should be okay.

Filipe Teixeira and James Morrison (both heel), Gianni Zuiverloon (hamstring), Neil Clement and Ishmael Miller (both knee) all remain sidelined.
