On-loan Manchester City defender Logan suffered a knock in last weekend's 3-0 defeat at Leeds and subsequently missed the 1-0 home reverse to Bolton in the Carling Cup on Tuesday.

Rovers skipper Thomas-Moore missed the Wanderers game with a groin strain and Gareth Edds and Terry Gornell could again be asked to deputise.

Ash Taylor came into the side for on-loan Blackburn defender Gavin Gunning against the Trotters.

Gunning was ineligible to play but he was replaced after 40 minutes with blisters last weekend and will be assessed before the visit of the Addicks.

Striker Bas Savage remains sidelined and is not expected to play until the New Year because of a ruptured Achilles tendon injury which he sustained towards the end of last season.
