Striker Davies is struggling with an ankle strain and may be forced to sit out the meeting with Kevin Blackwell's men.

Other than Davies, only striker Chris Porter (hip) and midfielder Giles Barnes (Achilles) are unavailable to Clough as he aims to preserve his side's 100% home record.

Midfielder Paul Green is back in training following a foot injury, while Shaun Barker and Dean Leacock are now fit after building up their fitness levels.

"It is important to hit the ground running again after this two week period without a competitive match," Clough told Derby's official website.

"We want to make sure we are at it from the first whistle on Saturday."
