Goalkeeper Hoult has joined on loan from Notts County and midfielder Devitt has arrived from Hull for a similar period.

Hoult is likely to replace summer signing David Knight on Saturday, while Quakers boss Todd has yet to decide who will make way for Devitt.

Todd will be without experienced defender Mark Bower, who has sustained an ankle injury in training, while on-loan midfielder Nathan Porritt has returned to Middlesbrough.

Striker Lee Thorpe (groin) and full-back Paul Arnison (hamstring) are making steady progress but are not yet ready for first-team action.

Young striker Curtis Main is hoping to earn a recall to the first-team squad.
