Senegal international Gomis started the week with an Achilles injury but while that has now cleared up, he has been laid low by a virus.
The Tangerines are without Scott Robertson, who is banned following his red card at Celtic last week, so David Robertson is in line to start. Skipper Lee Wilkie is in the squad, but long-term crocks Jon Daly and Francisco Sandaza remain sidelined.
