Higgs: Thigh problem

Higgs: Thigh problem

Higgs, who has started every game for Leeds this season after arriving on a free transfer in the summer from Cheltenham, faces a race to be fit due to a thigh strain sustained during the second half of Saturday's win at MK Dons.

Casper Ankergren replaced Higgs at stadium:mk and will make his first start against Carlisle if the latter fails to make it.

Full-back Crowe, another ever-present this season following his summer switch from Northampton, strained his hamstring after only 10 minutes on Saturday and is doubtful.

Luciano Becchio missed the MK Dons game as he was scheduled to become a father, but is expected back at the expense of Mike Grella as Leeds look to extend their 15-game winning league run at Elland Road, which dates back to January last season when Carlisle won 2-0.
