The teenage winger suffered a recurrence of his thigh problem at Cardiff last Saturday and missed the midweek defeat by Leicester.

Midfielder Darren Ambrose could return to the starting line-up after a substitute appearance on Tuesday night following a hamstring injury.

Stern John has made two appearances from the bench since recovering from his dislocated elbow and will push for a start against his former club.

Fellow striker Calvin Andrew is still on the sidelines with a long-term knee injury.

Youngsters Kieron Cadogan and Nathanial Pinney and winger Ryan Smith scored for the reserves in midweek to push their claims for places in the squad.
