Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe will miss Saturday's Premier League clash at Arsenal as he must serve the final part of his three-match ban.

Aaron Lennon (ankle), Giovani dos Santos (ankle) and Luka Modric (fractured leg) will also miss the north London derby at Emirates Stadium (kick-off 12.45pm) but Peter Crouch has recovered from a groin problem.

Goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini (knee) and centre-backs Jonathan Woodgate (head) and Ledley King (illness) should be available and Niko Kranjcar is back after being cup-tied.
