Big changes unlikely for Swans

Swansea manager Paulo Sousa is unlikely to make too many changes to his in-form City side, who make the long trip to Scunthorpe on Saturday.

Sousa has taken the Swans on an eight-game unbeaten run and will not make too many alterations to the side that drew with Blackpool last weekend.

There may be a return for defender Garry Monk, though, with the captain having recovered from a calf strain.

Sousa does remain without long-term casualties Guillem Bauza and Ferrie Bodde, but Spanish defender Albert Serran is nearing a return from an ankle injury.

Striker Lee Trundle will be hoping to earn a starting spot too, although Sousa is likely to remain faithful to the partnership of Craig Beattie and Cedric Van der Gun.

Defensive duo Angel Rangel and Alan Tate are both one yellow card away from a suspension, with any ban ruling them out of next weekend's derby with Cardiff.
