Captain Dean Lewington serves the second game of his two-match suspension while Jermaine Easter and Stephen Gleeson are on international duty with Wales and the Republic of Ireland Under-21s respectively.

Forward Jemal Johnson has recovered from both a calf injury and swine flu and could come back into contention while defender Danny Swailes is also back after illness.

Danny Woodards was sent home from training on Monday with illness of his own and has not yet returned so is unlikely to feature, while Martin Devaney (dead leg) and Darren Powell (knock) are both doubts.

Sam Baldock did his chances of earning a start no harm with a brace in the 3-1 win over Northampton in midweek but Ince may choose to play Aaron Wilbraham as a lone striker at The Valley.

Where's The Love For Walcott?

Theo Walcott is wanted by neither Arsenal or Liverpool fans in the afternoon Mailbox. Also, some good points on the FA skewed priorities, and glorious geekery...

Ripe Robin Still Has A Role To Play...

There is some support for the aging Robin van Perise in a frankly threadbare Mailbox. Also, more debate over homegrown players, with a suggestion of an import tax...
