Only striker Ben May (ankle) and defender Kenny Milne (knee), who are both long-term casualties, will be unavailable.

Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Joe Murphy will return to United's starting line-up after missing out against Watford last week through suspension. Josh Lillis will return to the bench as a result.

Midfielder Grant McCann could return to the side as well after missing out at Vicarage Road, while Michael O'Connor will also hope to be involved.

Scunthorpe go into the clash on the back of a four-game losing sequence, three of which have come away from Glanford Park. The run of results has left them fourth from bottom in the Championship table.
