Doyle picked up a fifth caution of in last weekend's abandoned game with Plymouth, and although the game was not completed, the booking stands and he serves a one-game ban.

Anderson de Silva, who was serving a similar suspension in the game, must sit out again in a bizarre interpretation of the rules.

With Robins bereft of bodies in the centre of midfield, Jacob Butterfield and Bobby Hassell are the most likely to deputise, with Emil Hallfredsson continuing to operate on the wing.

Darren Moore is hopeful of earning a recall at centre-half but Robins is set to keep faith with Stephen Foster and Ryan Shotton.

Striker Jon Macken (calf) is fit to be involved.
