Leroy Lita starts a three-match ban following his dismissal in the 3-0 Boxing Day win against Scunthorpe, while Dave Kitson, whose loan expires on Tuesday, missed that game with a stomach bug and is again doubtful.

Jeremie Aliadiere started against the Iron and scored following a lengthy absence through injury and he should keep his place.

Defender Emanuel Pogatetz looks set for a spell on the sidelines with a hamstring problem he sustained in the second half of Saturday's clash.

Danny Coyne should keep his place in goal after impressing in place of Brad Jones, while Isaiah Osbourne is available after extending his loan from Aston Villa.
