Baker: Returns from suspension

Baker has missed County's last three games through suspension following his red card against Charlton.

Manager Gary Ablett has revealed he expects the forward to move to Championship side Coventry in the January transfer window, so the clash with Leeds is likely to be one of Baker's final appearances for the club.

Michael Rose will serve a one-match ban after picking up his fifth booking of the season in the 4-1 Boxing Day defeat at MK Dons.

On-loan Chelsea youngster Liam Bridcutt is also likely to miss out as he continues to struggle with a knee injury.

County have lost their last 10 League One games and are rooted to the foot of the table.

The club are hopeful that Monday's game will go ahead following concerted efforts to protect the Edgeley Park pitch.

Meanwhile, Ablett paid tribute to Jason Puncheon after the midfielder repeatedly punctured his side during Saturday's defeat to Dons.

"Puncheon's two pieces of quality made all the difference," the County boss admitted. "He even put in our best cross of the afternoon when he sliced his kick for our goal - it was a good finish by Peter.

"Confidence is low in the camp at the moment, that's 11 games without a win now.

"It's difficult to lift the lads, I find myself saying the same things after every game. Until the takeover happens we will have to work with what we've got and people are coming in for our better players."
