Murphy was included in the squad for the first time last weekend after his move from Irish side Bohemians but injured his ankle ligaments in the warm-up.

He will be out for another 10 days at least so Arran Lee-Barrett will continue in goal with youngster Ian McLoughlin deputising on the bench.

Striker Jon Stead sits out the third match of a four-game suspension following his Boxing Day dismissal while on-loan Crystal Palace striker Stern John is available.

David Norris successfully claimed his first goal of the season against Leicester last Sunday after recovering from a serious knee injury but Keane remains without fellow knee injury victims Richard Wright and Luciano Civelli.
