The defender will undergo hip surgery and looks set to miss most of the second half of the season.

Lee Miller will also miss the visit of the SPL strugglers as he serves the final match of his ban.

Zander Diamond will be named on the bench after being out since the first game of the season, initially with a long-standing ankle problem which required surgery and then with a broken nose.
