The striker has picked up a knee injury but should be fit enough to take his place in the squad at the Liberty Stadium.

However, boss Chris Coleman has been hit by the news that midfielder Isaac Osbourne, who has been out of action since November, has been ruled out for the season after undergoing surgery on his knee on Sunday.

Defender Ben Turner is due to return to first-team training on Thursday following a niggling ankle injury and is not due to have an operation until the end of the season.

The centre-half recently had a cortisone injection to see him through to the summer when an operation will remove some floating bone.

Fellow defender Marcus Hall is set to return for the Sky Blues within a week.
