Shane Long's goal gave the Royals a 1-0 win over Barnsley last weekend and the Republic of Ireland international will keep his place in attack, with one of Simon Church, Grzegorz Rasiak, Nicholas Bignall or Gunnar Thorvaldsson partnering him.

Czech Republic midfielder Marek Matejovsky remains on the sidelines with an abdominal injury and is expected to be out for around another fortnight.

On-loan Blackburn defender Zurab Khizanishvili is still waiting to make his debut after signing last month while centre-half Matt Mills will come up against his former side.

Noel Hunt (knee), Chris Armstrong (knee) and Julian Kelly (shoulder) remain sidelined as the Royals look to draw level with Ipswich at the foot of the table.

Kick-off at the Keepmoat Stadium is at 5.20pm.
