Striker Killen and defender Pogatetz are rated "touch and go" after their rehabilitation from their respective injuries was hindered by a virus.

Gary O'Neil returned to the side for Tuesday's 2-0 defeat at Blackpool and, although he is still not fully fit following a groin problem, the midfielder could be asked to continue in the starting line-up.

Julio Arca is pushing for a start after coming off the bench to make his comeback from an ongoing toe problem at Bloomfield Road.

But Seb Hines (ankle and knee ligament) and Matthew Bates (cruciate ligament) remain on the sidelines.
