Manager Mark McGhee revealed on Friday the duo would be his centre-back partnership for the game, with Diamond having played despite his illness in Tuesday night's shock Active Nation Scottish Cup defeat by Raith.

Midfielder Peter Pawlett has been ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing knee surgery, while Andrew Considine (hip) is also a long-term absentee.
