Edwards serves the second instalment of a two-game ban and Andy Butler is again set to deputise at the heart of the defence at Oakwell.

Midfielder Gary Taylor-Fletcher succumbed to injury during last weekend's win over Reading and was replaced by Hameur Bouazza after just 22 minutes.

Taylor-Fletcher will be assessed ahead of this weekend's game but Danny Coid (hamstring), Daniel Nardiello (groin), and Billy Clarke (knee) all look set to remain sidelined.

Steve McPhee is steadily recovering from a long-term cruciate ligament injury but the forward is not yet ready to be considered for a return to first-team action.

Holloway's men are in buoyant mood after two successive home wins and three consecutive clean sheets.
