The midfielder had been nursing an injury following the 1-0 home win over Leicester but has trained this week and will keep his place in the side.

Defender Dean Leacock and forward Steven Davies made their returns from injury against the Foxes and have suffered no reaction, so they too should retain their places in the starting XI.

Kris Commons is close to a return but the Scotland international will not be risked over the Easter period.

The forward suffered a hamstring injury against Swansea in February and it was hoped he would be back in contention by now. However, Rams boss Nigel Clough believes Commons could be available for selection for the trip to Barnsley on April 10.

"He has not progressed as quickly as we would have liked and he won't be ready for Coventry or Ipswich on Monday," said Clough. "You can't rush hamstrings and we will assess it again early next week as regards the Barnsley match."
