The 27-year-old defender is set to return in south Wales after completing a five-match ban following his third red card of the season against Ipswich last month.

Kenny Milne will miss out after starting only his second game in 19 months against Blackpool on Friday.

Niall Canavan could come in for Rob Jones, who has been struggling with a knee problem in recent weeks, while Adkins will hand a late fitness test to David Mirfin (calf).

Ian Morris is ruled out with a knee injury and may be joined on the sidelines by midfielder Sam Togwell and left-back Marcus Williams, who are both doubts after picking up knocks on Friday.
