The former Celtic midfielder was sent off against Ipswich on Monday for foul and abusive language and he will serve a two-match ban.

Rob Hulse is hoping to return to the starting line-up after firing his 12th goal of the season when stepping off the substitutes bench in the 3-1 home defeat to Roy Keane's side.

Manager Nigel Clough must decide whether to stick with Steven Davies alongside Chris Porter up front or recall former Crewe, West Brom, Leeds and Sheffield United forward Hulse.
