Pilkington is struggling after taking a knock in Tuesday's win over Oldham and if he misses out Nathan Eccleston, on loan from Liverpool, will start.

The Terriers will definitely be without midfielder Antony Kay, who completes a two-match ban.

Strikers Lee Novak (knee) and Robbie Simpson (thigh) have been out for several weeks and although both are close to a return, the game will come too soon for them.

Manager Lee Clark has no other new injury or suspension problems and is unlikely to make too many changes as his side chase a fourth win in five matches to maintain their push for the play-offs.
