Price, who has scored twice in six appearances for the Cumbrians since arriving from Millwall last month, is nursing a strained hamstring and is rated doubtful.

Midfielder Marc Bridge-Wilkinson missed out on Saturday with a cricked neck, but returned to training on Monday and could return.

Abbott has no new injury or suspension problems, but defenders Danny Livesey (hamstring) and Peter Murphy (knock) are still struggling and Kevan Hurst (knee), Joe Anyinsah (double hernia) and Andy Cook (foot) all remain sidelined.

Defender David Raven returned to the substitutes' bench on Saturday after a long-term hip injury and is hoping to make his first appearance since early October.
