Former Aston Villa midfielder Hendrie came off the bench to set up the Seagulls' goal in Saturday's 2-1 defeat at home to Carlisle and boss Gus Poyet plans to put him back in the starting line-up.

Striker Glenn Murray should also go straight back into the team after completing a two-match suspension.

Defenders Marcos Painter (knee) and Colin Hawkins (heel), goalkeeper Michel Kuipers (broken finger) and forward Gary Hart (back) are still missing.

Centre-half James Tunnicliffe could be added to the squad after returning from his loan spell at MK Dons.

The trip brings back unhappy memories for Albion fans after the club were forced to play their home games at the Priestfield Stadium for two years after their Goldstone Ground was sold off.
