The Reds guaranteed their place in the top six with a 3-0 home win over Ipswich last weekend.
Adebola missed that game following a recurrence of a thigh problem while Chambers suffered a muscle strain during the second half against Roy Keane's side.
Both players will be assessed before boss Billy Davies names his squad but the Scot is hopeful they will be fit.
With a play-off spot assured, Davies has hinted he will rest some of his key players for the remaining three Championship fixtures.
That means the likes of Adebola, goalkeeper Paul Smith, midfielder Lewis McGugan and forwards Garath McCleary and Joe Garner could be in line for starts.
