The eight-goal striker is struggling to overcome a calf injury for the club's first game since relegation was confirmed following the 2-0 home defeat by Newcastle on Monday.

Skipper Carl Fletcher may also miss out with a knee injury so Chris Clark, an unused substitute against the Magpies, or fit-again Luke Summerfield could step in.

On-loan Fulham goalkeeper David Stockdale is set to play his last game before returning to his parent club at the end of his three-month loan spell.

Yannick Bolasie and Joe Mason will be pushing for starts after being introduced late on against Newcastle while head coach Paul Mariner may give chances to the fringe players for the last two games.
