Midfielder Adam has been struggling with an ankle problem but should be okay to play, while striker Burgess (knee), who missed last weekend's 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest, is rated as 50/50 for the clash at London Road.

Neal Eardley (hamstring) could return to the squad after building up his fitness in a reserve game against Accrington on Wednesday, but Stephen McPhee (knee) remains on the sidelines.

Hameur Bouazza is receiving treatment abroad on his groin problem and will be unavailable for selection.

With just two games remaining, the Seasiders are two points adrift of sixth-placed Swansea.
