Ritchie Humphreys has been struggling with a virus in recent weeks but is now back to full fitness, so he will line-up alongside former Cork man Joe Gamble in central midfield.

Turner is hoping to secure on-loan striker Roy O'Donovan's services permanently when his contract expires in the summer, but this could prove to be the 24-year-old's last home game for Pools with several Championship clubs rumoured to be interested in the Sunderland man.

The fixture could be pivotal for the Victoria Park club as three points will ensure safety even if the FA choose to deduct United three points for fielding an ineligible player in last month's match with Brighton.
