Yeovil went ahead with their first real attack in the 18th minute of Saturday's League One clash at Huish Park when an unmarked Gavin Tomlin headed home Gavin Williams' corner.

Two minutes later Williams' free-kick was tipped over by Oldham goalkeeper Darryl Flahavan, while Sean Gregan tested home goalkeeper Alex McCarthy with a 20-yard free-kick.

Goalscorer Tomlin went off in the 39th minute with groin trouble, but Yeovil regrouped and had the better of the second half without getting the all-important second goal until late on.

Williams slammed home a partially cleared corner in off a defender from the edge of the penalty area and in stoppage time added a third goal, his second, turning in Andy Welsh's cross from close range.
