The Shakers' leading scorer missed last weekend's 1-0 loss at Lincoln with a sore groin but looks certain to be passed fit.

Young midfielder Sam Hewson, who is on loan from Manchester United, remains sidelined through illness but Knill has no other injury or suspension concerns.

Bury's automatic promotion hopes have ended after a dismal run of form which has seen them take just four points from a possible 24.

A play-off spot is not yet guaranteed and Knill acknowledged his men must go all out for victory.

He said: "The fact we are sixth in the table shows we are one of the better teams in the division."
