Despite seeing a specialist in a bid to speed up his recovery, the frontman is still struggling with the sore heel that ruled him out of last weekend's 3-2 triumph over Brentford.

That win, combined with Charlton's victory over Leeds, has kept Danny Wilson's side in with a shout of a top-two finish right up until the final day.

Should Leeds win at home to Bristol Rovers then they will clinch second spot, but any other result would open the door for Swindon, Millwall or Charlton to snatch automatic promotion from under their nose.

Winger Alan O'Brien (hamstring) returned to the bench last Saturday and should be included in Wilson's matchday 18 once again, but Kurt Hammonds (knee) remains in the treatment room.

Wilson rotated his ranks against the Bees in a bid to end a four-match winless run, with Lescinel Jean-Francois, Craig Easton and Frank Nouble coming in for regulars Charlie Austin, Simon Ferry and Scott Cuthbert. And it remains to be seen how he will line up at the Den.
