But manager Steve Cotterill refused to name the players in question.

The game at Plainmoor will be Kasper Schmeichel's last for the club before the highly-rated goalkeeper's contract is cancelled.

Veteran stopper Russell Hoult could play some part as he did against Cheltenham last weekend when he replaced the Dane late in the game.

Luke Rodgers, Matt Hamshaw, Jamie Clapham, Karl Hawley, Ade Akinbiyi and Johnnie Jackson are all available for recalls should Cotterill wish to make changes to his starting line-up.

Cotterill said: "The title may be won but we are still playing for professional pride. It will be a very tough game against a side that are in form having won their last five matches."
