Ledley King could be rested for Tottenham's Premier League clash at Burnley on Sunday with Champions League qualification already secured.

Sebastien Bassong is likely to come in at centre-back for King, who has played in Spurs' last three matches despite the defender's ongoing problems with his right knee.

Goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes is struggling with a muscle strain and could miss out, while Vedran Corluka, Niko Kranjcar (both ankle), Jonathan Woodgate (groin) and Carlo Cudicini (wrist/pelvis) are still ruled out.

Kick-off is at 4pm.
