Macc secured an encouraging 0-0 draw with Northampton on the opening day of the season and Alexander has no fresh injuries to contend with.

New left-back Stephen Reed missed out at the weekend with a minor calf strain and is unlikely to be risked.

Reed is joined on the sidelines by Nat Brown (shin) and club captain Sean Hessey (knee), who also sat out against the Cobblers.

Matty Tipton, Izak Reid and Kyle Wilson will push to be involved should Alexander opt to shuffle his pack for the clash with the newly-promoted Championship side.
