Tottenham defender Sebastien Bassong is set to make his debut in the Premier League clash against Liverpool at White Hart Lane on Sunday (4pm).

Bassong is expected to partner Ledley King as Jonathan Woodgate is recovering from groin surgery and Michael Dawson is ruled out with an Achilles injury.

Gareth Bale (knee) is also ruled out and Jermaine Jenas (calf) is doubtful.
