Maynard: On target in win

Maynard: On target in win

Danny Haynes broke the deadlock for the Robins after 33 minutes, cutting inside Christophe Berra and slipping the ball past Wayne Hennessey with the outside of his foot.

It was 2-0 to the Championship side five minutes later as Nicky Maynard turned 30 yards out and unleashed a fierce drive into the top corner.

Hennessey kept the scoreline respectable as he pulled off a stunning save to keep out Lewin Nyatanga's point-blank header.

Wolves' new-boy Nenad Milijas impressed, seeing a well-struck shot tipped around the post.
