The Czech striker returned to full training last week after completing his three month club suspension.

Baggies manager Roberto Di Matteo told his club's website: "Roman is fit enough to play some part, he has been excellent in training since coming back and this is a good opportunity for him to start his season."

However, the Baggies will be without midfield trio Robert Koren, Chris Brunt and Jerome Thomas.

Koren and Brunt suffered calf strains in the 2-0 win over Ipswich while Thomas is ruled out due to illness.

Filipe Teixeira and James Morrison (both heel), Gianni Zuiverloon (hamstring), Neil Clement and Ishmael Miller (both Knee) are all still sidelined. Joe Mattock (bruised shin) is a doubt while Graham Dorrans is available after a one-match ban.
