To add to Carlo Ancelotti's selection problems, the Chelsea coach is also without midfielder Deco (calf), plus defenders Alex (groin) and Paulo Ferreira (knee). England midfielder Joe Cole and new signing Yuri Zhirkov are also out with knee problems.

Ancelotti will add academy stars Sam Hutchinson, Jeffrey Bruma and Fabio Borini to his squad.
