Fulham captain Danny Murphy will miss Thursday's Europa League game against Roma after failing to recover from a knee injury.

Boss Roy Hodgson confirmed Murphy would miss the Stadio Olimpico clash and is also likely to sit out Sunday's Premier League trip to Wigan.

Damien Duff (Achilles) and Andrew Johnson (shoulder) are also set to miss both games but Dickson Etuhu (knee) could play on Thursday.

Kick-off: 6pm.
