The French striker picked up the injury in the Carling Cup defeat by Tottenham, and although he managed to come on against Aston Villa on Saturday, he is still troubled by it.

John Heitinga and Lucas Neill are both ineligible but Tony Hibbert could return.

He returned to training after missing the Villa game because of flu.
