The pacy forward, who scored the Spireites injury-time winner in the league game against Accrington on Saturday, is nursing a knock and may not be risked.

New signing Mark Little, 21, is added to John Sheridan's squad after arriving on a month's loan from Wolves.

However, David Perkins, who made his debut as a second-half substitute against the Shots after joining on loan from Colchester at the end of last week, is cup-tied having featured in his parent club's defeat to Gillingham in the first round of the competition.

Chesterfield crushed Burton 5-1 in their first-round tie, with Small scoring twice.

Kick-off at Saltergate is at 7.30pm.
