Schneiderlin: Groin injury

The midfielder missed Saturday's 4-1 win over Gillingham after suffering a groin injury in the week.

Paul Wotton stepped in to the centre at the weekend and will probably keep his place at St Mary's if Schneiderlin is ruled out.

Striker Rickie Lambert took a knock towards the end of Saturday's game but is expected to be fit.

Goalkeeper Tommy Forecast could be in line for an appearance if Kelvin Davis is rested while Marek Saganowski, Simon Gillett, Matt Paterson and Lee Holmes are also pressing for starts.

Wayne Thomas (ankle) could miss out again while Graeme Murty (knee) and Kayne McLaggon (Achilles) are still on the sidelines.
