The duo arrived on loan from Crystal Palace this week and will go straight into Penney's squad to face the League One leaders.

Alan Sheehan has returned to Leeds following a loan spell at Boundary Park but will not feature for Simon Grayson's men.

The Latics have no suspension worries ahead of the game but could be without Alex Marrow, Pawel Abbott and Chris Taylor, who are all carrying knocks.

Penney said: "There are two or three that are struggling but we're touching wood that they will be okay."
